We Introduce Some Of The Home Spa Makeovers For Body And Soul – Part 2

What Do We Have In The Second Part Of The Discussion?

When it comes to home remedies, there are many packs and scrubs you can experiment with. So, we always suggest you try them before settling for any chemical alternatives. For this, we use the mostly found handy ingredients at the low levels when it comes to citrus ingredients or others that may harm the sensitive skin. The skin type has to be determined beforehand when you resort to any skin treatments be it natural or chemical. We promise you will get the results, as they are tried and tested solutions from the age of your grandma. Here we go with some of them continued from the earlier post.

Home Spa Sugar Scrub And Honey Hand Wrap

With this richly emollient hand wrap soothe itchy, dry, winter -chapped hands.

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup honey

To form a paste, mix olive oil and sugar. Rinse with warm water after massaging over hands to lightly exfoliate. Apply to hands after warming honey in microwave and be careful not to let it get too hot! Relax for 30 minutes after wrapping hands with plastic wrap.

 Home Spa Coffee Body Scrub

Try inhaling an entire shower full of Joe if the smell of freshly brewed coffee perks you up in the morning. Coarsely ground coffee and raw sugar or sea salts rids your body of dead, flaky skin cells whereas massage oil smoothes and moisturises.

2 cups of coarsely ground coffee

1/2 cup raw sugar or sea salt

2-3 tablespoons massage oil (preferably sunflower, jojoba, or apricot kernel oil)

Firstly, mix the ingredients well together. To moisten your skin and open pores, take a hot shower. Rub the scrub onto the skin with strong, even pressure using wide, circular motions. After that, you can shower off patting the skin dry, and applying a thin layer of your favourite body lotion. To start your morning now you can get ready.

Spa Treatment Shower Therapy

It is often found that a dreamy way to relax and unwind is a long hot bath. In case you live in a house without a tub, what if your self-pampering time is limited, for the horror of horrors? A simple technique that comes to the rescue of harried women who bathe standing up, enters the aromatherapy shower.

Take an extra washcloth, wet it, and scent with four or five droplets of your favourite essential oil to try it yourself. Let the water run hot for a minute or two to steam up the room and disperse the scent after tucking the washcloth into a corner on your shower floor. Into a cloud of scented steam then step out of your clothes. Exhilarating in the blissful smell breathes deeply.

On choosing oils, here are some tips: along with essential oils of bergamot, rosemary, and cardamom, citrus scents like lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, and orange are wonderful mood lifters. Pick soothing scents like lavender, clay sage, sandalwood, chamomile, pine, and vetiver if you are more in need of mellowing out than pepping up.

Natural Eye De-Puffing Treatment

Lie down with your feet up and use one of the following treats to soothe and de-puff the precious peepers if your eyes are red and puffy from a long day spent squinting at the screen.

On your eyes, lay thinly sliced cucumber

You can use damp, used tea bags or else cotton squares dampened with cool tea.

Lay an unopened bag of frozen peas over your eyes on top of the cucumber or tea compresses. To reduce swelling after eye surgery, this is an old trick from plastic surgeons.

Your eyes will be good as new after a good night’s sleep.

The Final Words On The Scrubs And Shower

It is always better to know which one of the scrubs and exfoliating treatments is best suited for you with the help of a dermatologist. Many of them may be allergic in case you have sensitive skin. What do you need to do here in this context? For sensitive skin use gentle ingredients and massage oils that do not have a reaction or allergy. Also, remember to apply the moisturiser after a warm shower as it helps open up the pores and absorb the solution applied.

As we conclude now, there are many others still to be tried. So, in case you know of one, let us know so that we can also get the secret recipe to healthy skin and hair.
